Hot Stone works as an add-on to your chosen massage by placing smooth, heated basalt stones on key muscle groups and using them as an extension of the therapist’s hands. The penetrating warmth loosens tension, allowing deeper pressure and prolonged relaxation throughout the session.

Most clients with controlled blood pressure can receive Hot Stone, but heat affects circulation. Please disclose hypertension, heart conditions, or medications at booking. Your therapist will adjust temperature, placement, or recommend avoiding the add-on if risks outweigh benefits.

Our stones are warmed to a comfortable therapeutic temperature below skin-damaging levels. Therapists test each stone before use and monitor comfort continuously. If heat feels too intense at any time, tell your therapist so they can cool or remove the stone immediately.

Yes — Hot Stone complements deep tissue, Swedish, or other massages by enhancing muscle release. Prenatal clients should consult a provider; we modify or avoid stones during pregnancy to ensure safety. Always inform your therapist of pregnancy or special conditions.

Hot Stone is an add-on; typical upgrades add 15–30 minutes to your primary massage. When booking online or by phone, select the Hot Stone option so we can allocate extra time and ensure your therapist prepares warmed stones in advance.

Contraindications include open wounds, recent surgery, uncontrolled diabetes, severe cardiovascular disease, deep vein thrombosis, skin conditions, or sensory impairments. Inform us of medical history; therapists may alter temperature, placement, or recommend skipping the add-on for your safety.
